Pretty Pink Surprises

Last summer when I moved from the beach cottage to the country house I had no idea what flowers were lying dormant in the garden. At the time everything appeared dead and neglected. The house had been a bank owned repo and sat quite a while without any care. One day while I was working in the yard , the previous owner stopped by to say hi ( bless her heart ) and mentioned to me that she had planted some of her favorite flowers there and hoped they would bloom again for me to see.Well the flowers are starting to blossom, like a gift of pretty pink surprises from her to me.

  3. Christie, I never knew the old owners came by... hos sad for them :( As hard as it was I am sure they were happy to know that you will love and take care of their old place. I must say everything looks amazing... but when you have your hand on something that is usually the outcome gorgeous. I hope you have a great day thanks for the Birthday comment.

    Smiles,
    Sheila

  18. Hello Christie, You stopped by my blog earlier today and left a sweet note...thank you! I stopped by in return only to find that YOU are one of my favorite painters of roses. I have your yard long garland bouquet hanging above my buffet in the dining room. What a small world ;-). You live in Fallbrook now? Have you ventured out to Summer's Past Garden's outside of Alpine? It's such an beautiful peaceful place.
I hope you have a lovely day.

    God bless,
    Cori
