Rustic Country For Christmas!

I'm getting ready for Lori's Holiday show and am finding myself in a more rustic mood with reds, pinks , greens and cream as a color palette, so I painted on burlap for something different and found these old wood furniture parts to re-create into something decorative and fun!

  19. The vintage pieces with the elegance of your painted roses is a charming fit. You make me want to change my trip to the East coast so I can go to Lori's show...but can't. Hope you will have some at your December show. See you then.

  26. I love your new look - I love the beauty of the roses on the old and chippy wood and the burlap - just shows that everything does not have to be pale pink and white.....Your roses would be beautiful no matter what they would be painted on.

  31. Oh how fun... Burlap is making a big splash in decorating and wardrobes now, I've always had an affinity for it and your painting on it is fabulous!

The repurposing of lovely old furniture parts aged to perfection and then graced with your Art is beautiful too... I love it ALL and so glad you're doing some Rustic pieces!

BTW... today I found a new Store in Phoenix (Paris Envy) that had one of your magnificent pieces in it, framed in an eye popping enormous Victorian Tin Ceiling Medallion... I was swooning and weak at the knees! HAD to Blog about it today and share it.
