Today for the second class, I am teaching a single rose on a canvas with a backround.I picked this design for it's simplicity of pattern and limited color palette. From such a simple composition there is a lot to learn! I will be excited to share photos of the Ladies progress!
Here are some of the ladies paintings. They all are doing such a good job! Each one is a little dfferent than the other in the way they interpet my design.Bravo, once again!!!

I'm so thankful for the wonderful home I have. All though it's definitly a big work in progress (being a bank repo.and all) it has plenty of space for me to utilize for my art and my business. I just recently cleaned up the pool house ( which I was un-able to rent out, for some reason?) and turned it into my classroom where I just had my first rose painting class. I loved it ! it is the perfect size to fit 12 women. It's always amazing to me how good things fall into place. The first 12 women that came were so sweet and eager to learn. Their projects turned out better than I exspected being I loaded them down with lots of things to think about. Here are a few photos from that day. Bravo Ladies!!! XO, Christie
