My Second RosePainting Class

Today for the second class, I am teaching  a single rose on a canvas with a backround.I picked this design for it's simplicity of pattern and limited color palette. From such a simple composition there is a lot to learn! I will be excited to share photos of  the Ladies progress!

Here are some of the ladies paintings. They all are doing such a good job! Each one is a little dfferent than the other in the way they interpet my design.Bravo, once again!!!

  3. Can't wait for the results Christie. The model is stunning.
I love so much your style and your inspiring work. You have a unique style, recognised immediately even if some other artists are copying or picking your ideas as their own.
My best wishes for your second class.

  20. Christie, Just found your post of your wonderful MAY class! The roses look so good! They always do!!!!! And that door you painted is a story in itself. I could look at it for hours! There is no one who can match your romantic flair with a paint brush. Those two rings of roses are the icing on the cake!

  22. Hi Christie, I've been a fan since I read about you in Romantic Homes years ago. I'm so glad to read that you have started teaching. I am wishing so hard that you have plans to produce instructional CDs (like the ones they do for tolepainting) so that fans like us who are so far away can learn from you too.
    Best wishes
